Due to the recent impact of the pandemic, CPhI & P-MEC China 2022, originally scheduled for June 21-23, 2022 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, has been postponed. After thoroughly considering feedback from all relevant parties and actively communicating with the venue and relevant authorities, the organizers have collectively determined that the 21st World Pharmaceutical Ingredients China Exhibition and the 16th World Pharmaceutical Machinery, Packaging Equipment & Materials China Exhibition (CPhI & P-MEC China 2022) will be rescheduled to December 20-22, 2022. The venue remains unchanged at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Medtec China 2022, the 17th International Exhibition on Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology, originally scheduled for August 31 to September 2 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and organized by Informa Markets, has announced a new date and venue. The event will now take place from December 7 to 9, 2022, at Hall B1-E1 on the first floor of the Suzhou International Expo Centre.

      Thank you for your interest in and support of the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF). In accordance with the Shanghai Municipal Government's COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and to ensure the health, safety, and exhibition effectiveness of exhibitors and industry professionals, the 86th CMEF, originally scheduled for August 21-24, 2022, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), has been rescheduled to November 23-26, 2022. The venue has been changed to the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an District).

China Food and Drug News: On the afternoon of July 18, the Symposium on the Implementation of Medical Device Unique Identification (UDI), a key event of the 2022 National Medical Device Safety Awareness Week, was held in Beijing. The symposium was hosted by the Medical Device Registration Administration Department of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), with the Medical Device Standards Management Center and Information Center serving as co-organizers. A representative from NMPA's Medical Device Registration Administration Department delivered opening remarks. Representatives from medical device manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare institutions shared their experiences in implementing the Unique Device Identification (UDI) system. Provincial drug regulatory authorities presented updates on advancing UDI implementation within their respective regions. Additionally, NMPA's Information Center and Medical Device Standards Management Center provided updates on UDI database development, relevant standards, and ongoing technical research.

On the evening of December 27 at 6:30 PM in Room 112 of Wenbei Building, the School of Foreign Languages successfully hosted a special presentation by Jiangyin Hongmeng Rubber & Plastic Products Foreign Trade Co., Ltd.
